Ambulance Dispatch and Tracking
Management System

Get vehicles to the scene faster with a mobile fleet management solution from Mentor Engineering. With 20 years of experience developing mobile computing software and hardware, you can rely on Mentor's solution to work now, and keep working long into the future

In the Ambulance

Mentor EMS Mobility, a reliable, user-friendly software application runs on Mentor Ranger® rugged in-vehicle computers and works with your Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. With EMS Mobility, crews receive quick and accurate call information with two-way messaging. They can update their status in real-time, and automatically provide dispatch with location, mileage, and time data, while a single point of crew login further increases accountability. Turn-by-turn navigation assists drivers in reaching the scene faster. Crews can use Ranger's optional Wi-Fi module to send electronic patient care data from the vehicle to the hospital using a secure connection.

In the Dispatch Center

For dispatchers, mobile fleet management means the ability to improve dispatch scheduling by sending the closest available vehicle to an emergency with GPS-based automatic vehicle tracking. Ranger connects to on-board equipment to capture vehicle telematic data reports and to monitor speeding thresholds and the use of onboard devices such as lights, sirens, and spotter switches. Managers are equipped with the information they need to reduce fuel consumption, regulate driver behavior, and improve safety.

Rockingham Regional Ambulance

Dispatcher and unit time is freed up because of less verbal interaction as we transition from cell phones to computers. The crews have more complete information so they do a better job, and the onboard mapping and routing cuts down on response times.
